Step 1: Activate your CMU Global ID

Your Global ID is a unique identifier included in your admittance packet sent from the Admissions Office. The packet also contains your temporary password that must be changed when you first log in.

Step 2: Reserve an orientation date

Space for each orientation session is limited and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Once CMU has received and processed your enrollment deposit, you will be able to reserve an orientation date. You will need your CMU Global ID and password to access the registration system.

Step 3: Check your CMU Email account often

All official University communication is conducted through your '@cmich.edu' email address. Make a habit to check your CMU email several times during the week.
