The schooltool Parent Portal allows you to enter into an exciting partnership with your child and the Valley Central School District. Parent Portal is a highly secure, internet-based application through which you are able to view district-permitted details of your student’s academic records.
Parents of Central Valley School District students can access their children’s school performance, including classes/schedule, teacher names, attendance, assignments, progress reports, and report cards via the secure SchoolTool Parent Portal. If interested, the District will provide you with a login/password to your child’s information.
Please fill in and print the Parent Portal Login Request Form (PDF). Submit it to the office at your child’s school. You will be notified via email when your account has been set up and receive instructions on how to access the portal.
Once you have been notified your account has been created, log into SchoolTool Parent Portal.
Parent Portal has a mobile app available for iOS and Android devices. With this app, parents or legal guardians who have Parent Portal accounts and students in grades 5-12 can view information about current schedules, attendance, assignments, grades and discipline. To avoid confusion and to ensure that you receive news of any changes to our SchoolTool system, please be certain that your Parent Portal email account matches the email you have on file at the school. Email the Parent Portal of any changes to your email account as soon as possible.

The District is providing free voluntary rapid antigen COVID testing for KHSD students to reduce the 10 Day Isolation or Quarantine Period.
The Kern High School district received At-Home Rapid Antigen COVID test kits from the State of California to provide to students. Each test kit contains two tests for students to use at home. These tests are designed to help slow the spread of COVID-19 after the holiday break.
