What's new at Chester Valley for summer 2022?

We are offering in-person summer dance programs ages 3 & up in-studio at Chester Valley for Summer 2022. These theme dance weeks are designed to introduce your child to ballet, tap, jazz, and acting with activities that are fun for the summer months.

How many parent evenings were held at Chester Academy?

Two parent evenings were again held at Chester Academy. As forms were received and verified, parents/guardians began receiving emails with their temporary passwords to start accessing the portal. * March 2012 - Our goal for March is to next mail home Parent Portal information packets to all parents/guardians of Eighth and Eleventh graders.

Fall Registration

Our Fall 2021 class registration will open online starting Monday, June 7th. All returning families should login to their existing portal to enroll in the recommended classes listed below.

Our Summer Session will run June 27th to August 4th

Summer Classes are imperative to ensure your student maintains their technique throughout the entire year. We are proud to offer a 6-week Summer class session for all ages and levels of students. Current students are reminded to register for the class with the corresponding color of the class they are currently taking in the 2021-22 school year.

Siblings will receive a 10% discount on the below cost. Any class longer than 1 hour will have $5.00 per 15 minute charge applied to total tuition.

What are the dance programs at Chester Valley?

These theme dance weeks are designed to introduce your child to ballet, tap, jazz, and acting with activities that are fun for the summer months. Each week will include arts & crafts geared toward the theme of the week, outside water activities, and a special picnic. Students attending must be potty trained and age 3 by January 2021 to attend.#N#At least 6 students must be enrolled in the full day camp for it to be held.

What do kids wear to dance?

Children may wear a princess dress, shorts, etc. Just as long as they are able to move freely to dance. Hair should be worn in a ponytail. On the last day the dancers will need a bathing suit or body suit to wear for the performance.

Can kids wear sneakers when dancing?

If you have dance shoes bring them: if not, you can wear sneakers with socks. No flip-flops allowed.
