It is the student's right to decide to share their student record information with others. CSU, Chico staff can answer questions about the Guest User account setup, but are not authorized to reset passwords or provide access.

Our Charter School was established in 1996 and the CCDS Charter was revised and most recently unanimously renewed in September of 2019. Our Charter sets out the goals, methods, structure and philosophy which guide our school.
CCDS has created a learning environment where children become literate, cultured, life-long learners who strive for academic excellence. Through a united school, parent and community effort, CCDS emphasizes social consciousness and responsibility to a democratic society, self-confidence and compassion, and appreciation and respect for the natural world.
The Admissions Process. CCDS endeavors to accommodate all students who apply for admission; however, because applications for admission exceed the number of spaces available, CCDS uses a computerized random selection process to determine admission status and the waiting list. CCDS cannot meet and discuss applicants who are on the waiting list. If you have a child on the waiting list, please know that you will be contacted if your child is selected. Your waitlist number will be available to view in your School Mint account.
WHAT: Prospective families are invited to attend one of our Information Sessions, an opportunity to meet our administrators, hear about our unique programs, and learn about the admissions process for all grade levels.
Our middle school students have six class periods per day. Through the course of each day, students have English, math, science history and PE. Students will also take an elective class each quarter and will be a part of an Advisory group.
CCDS is considered a local leader in technology education and application, and that continues through the middle school grades. We currently have 1:1 chromebooks for student use. All classrooms have large TV screens; teachers use document cameras and computers to display on the TV.
CCDS students have many opportunities to gain knowledge and skills beyond the walls of traditional classrooms through a wide range of study trips and on campus immersion activities. Take a look at a few of the experiences our middle school has offered—
