Parents who received a progress report or report card without any grades should contact their child’s school. Please provide school staff with name of your child, grade level and homeroom teacher. School staff can provide you with an updated progress report or report card as soon as possible.

In accepting an assignment to City Honors, families agree to participate in course and graduation requirements that go well beyond that of the state of New York including participation in all aspects of the IB Middle Years Program in grades 5-10 and taking at least five IB and AP courses in grades 9-12. All juniors and seniors participate in the IB Diploma Program as Course Candidates and approximately 40%-50% of our grades 11 & 12 students choose to pursue the full IB Diploma by becoming Diploma Candidates.

All applicants must live in the City of Buffalo at the time they apply to attend City Honors School. They must continue to reside in Buffalo the entirety of their time in attendance at the school.
