What is a CJHS house?

In order to enhance student engagement at school and to provide a sense of belonging to every student, we created the CJHS House system - communities within a community. Every student, teacher, and staff member belongs to one of our five houses. Our motto - At Coppinville We Have Eagle PRIDE - is the basis for the house names.

How do I buy a CJHS yearbook?

What is @CJHS leadership?

CJHS Leadership students help plan fun activities throughout the school year. Imagination: The ability to form a mental image of something not perceived through the five senses. The ability of the mind to build mental scenes, objects or events that do not exist, are not present.

Do you have a book drive at CJHS?

CJHS is hosting a BOOK DRIVE!! THANK YOU! ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK COVERING PROPERLY in classrooms, Library, MPR, Gym, and Lockeroom. While in the hallways and outdoors students/staff may take their masks off.

Parent Involvement Opportunities

We welcome parent involvement at Chico Junior High School. Research shows that students whose parents are involved in their education generally achieve higher grades and test scores, attend school regularly, do their homework consistently and exhibit positive attitudes and behavior.
