Claremont High serves approximately thirty-five orthopedically handicapped students from the Claremont Unified School District and surrounding districts. Staff and students work hard to build a culture of respect and pride. There is a school culture of strong achievement by all students and an expectation of respect for each other.
Established in 1925, The Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep School is set on an 125 acre estate in St Leonards and educates over 400 students. In 2011, the now Principal Giles Perrin founded Claremont Senior School in the historic village of Bodiam.
Students entering Claremont High School in Grade 9 - 12 are placed in mathematics classes based on grade information posted on their most recent transcript. Math proficiency level on current (as well as prior for CHS) California Assessment of Student Performance & Progress (CAASPP), if applicable.
Boarding provides a wonderful opportunity for students to combine their studies with making friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Claremont students come from all over the world, which makes for a rich and culturally diverse boarding community.
Any parent with an active ParentConnect account can access CUSD's Canvas learning management system (LMS) as an observer. A Parent Observer account allows parents/guardians to view their student's Canvas resources, submissions, contributions and grades.
Parents can add a ParentConnection icon directly to their Smart Phones creating a shortcut to give them quick and easy access to view student (s) attendance, assignments, marks, etc. Parents can also make on-line payments for food services.
