When will CCSD start a 4 day school week?

Thank you for completing this brief survey! Last year, the CCSD Board of Education voted to move ahead with a four day school week starting next year, in Fall 2022. As a district, we must ensure a number of things are put into place so that families have options AND the fifth day includes opportunities across the district for students who wish to participate in activities.

The Citizens’ Advisory Team is tasked with becoming familiar with the bond that Clear Creek voters approved in November 2021. The team is advisory to the CCSD Board of Education, and is an independent, community-based team. The team will review the project list, which is indicated in ballot language, monitor the progress of improvements & projects, and report status to the Board of Education quarterly. This is intended to provide a high level of accountability and communication on behalf of the Board of Education to the Clear Creek community.

AB 104-Pupil Instruction: Retention, Grade Changes and Exemptions

AB 104 allows for students who did not demonstrate satisfactory academic progress during the 2020-2021 school year to seek various supports.

We are actively monitoring the situation with COVID and potential impacts on staffing and schools. We considered implementing “buffer weeks” following winter break but decided to not do this. Instead, we have created a plan to be remote ready, and will monitor the situation daily.

Weather Alert

Due to wind and weather conditions, the buses will be running late. I-70 is currently closed at Georgetown as well. Thank you for your patience. As always it is a families choice to keep students home on inclement weather days.

The system will shut down Friday at 5 p.m. Once maintenance is completed a message will be sent to notify users that the system is up and available for use. Home Base will be returned to service no later than 6 a.m., Monday morning. If a delay in bringing up the system should occur, users will be notified via NC SIS email.
