Students at Colorado College are using a new campus building in all kinds of interesting ways — some intended, some a bit more unexpected. Hundreds recently experienced an arts extravaganza — complete with a Battle of the Bands competition, dancing, and a professional drag show — in CC’s hockey stadium, Ed Robson Arena.
IMPORTANT: Students and parents should each have their own Infinite Campus account. Please do not share your Infinite Campus credentials.
Every year, Colorado College enrolls an academically accomplished student body that encompasses a wide variety of interests, talents, and backgrounds.
In addition to the regular essays on the Common Application (or QuestBridge or Coalition Application), you will need to complete one brief (200 words) supplemental essay as part of your application to Colorado College. The prompt is: Why do you wish to attend Colorado College and how would the Block Plan serve your educational goals?
To ensure accurate staffing, classroom use, meal service and supplies, we require you begin providing a child care schedule every 2 weeks. If you are able to plan further in advance, we will gladly accept those schedules as well.
Per the public health order face coverings are required for unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated staff and visitors aged 12 and older.
The Children's Center will reopen on Monday, May 4, 2020 and hours of care will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will only be one infant room, one toddler room, and two preschool rooms. The limitation on the number of classrooms/children is to comply with Colorado state health care provisions and ratio in place at this time.
Tuition will continue based upon your child's scheduled attendance. Tuition is waived when children remain home sick. Billing and payments will continue bi-monthly. Please see attachment for tuition rates based on 7 hours of care. Tuition payments are due no later than 3 business days post billing.
To meet this commitment, Tuesday September 1, 2020, the College announced that classes are moving to remote delivery for the remainder of Block 1 and most classes will be remote for the remainder of the Fall Semester.
As previously communicated to you, Colorado childcare facilities may remain open with adherence to many restrictions and specific health guidelines from multiple governing bodies. The center will continue to adhere to the following:
Instead of taking multiple classes at a time, CC students study one class at a time, for three-and-a-half weeks.
