We are excited to announce that beginning on Monday, November 28, 2016, the Commack Middle School will begin using an online, open gradebook through our already existing Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

JV Boys Basketball Undefeated League 2 Champs

For the second year in a row, the JV Boys Basketball team are League 2 Champs! The team finished undefeated with a record of 14-0 in the league and 19-1 overall. Congratulations to these athletes and their coaches!

Girls Fencing First! Long Island Champions!

Congrats to Commack Girls Fencing for becoming LONG ISLAND CHAMPIONS for the first time in Commack history!!! They completed the perfect season. Undefeated 15-0.! GO COUGARS!!!

Reconnecting & Discovery Camp 2022

Commack is so excited for another year of Reconnecting & Discovery Camp for incoming K-12 th graders. Mark your calendars! Camp will be held from July 25-August 18. The program will be partially subsidized by grants funds. More information and registration materials will be made available mid-April via email and the Commack Schools website.

New York State Assessment Information

Cougar Boys Track & Field Team made history by becoming the 2022 Winter Large School Suffolk County Champions! First time ever in Commack history! Congratulations to the boys and their coaches!

Regeneron Scholar at CHS!

Commack High School senior, Soyoun "Ashley" M., was named a Regeneron STS Scholar for her Animal Science project, Exploring Sexual Dimorphism and Sex Hormone Receptor Expression in the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BNST) in the Monogamous Prairie Vole, which she investigated at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

Walnut Street Hosts 'Stories Around the Campfire' Event

October 22, 2021 -- Walnut Street Elementary School hosted its first Title I-funded family involvement program for the 2021-2022 school year. The program, entitled “Stories Around the Campfire,” took place outside on school grounds on a beautiful fall day.
