All students who wish to enrol at Mac. Robertson Girls' High School must undertake an entrance examination in June of the year preceding enrolment. For example, students wishing to enrol in 2023 must apply for and sit the entrance exam in 2022. Applications for enrolment in 2023 are now open.
If you have forgotten your Compass password or you're struggling to log in, you can reset your Compass password. You'll need your Compass username, date of birth, membership number and the email address you used to register with. Compass stores the email address you originally used to register with.

Each year, over 3,000 candidates sit the entrance examination for a total of approximately 960 places (across all four schools).

Each year, approximately 15,000 Year 6 students across the state of New South Wales optionally undertake the Selective High School Placement Test to seek one of the 3,600 places offered for first-year entry into selective high schools.
