Vacaville Unified School District follows the Standard Response Protocols (SRP) in close partnership with the Vacaville Police Department. The VUSD safety plan includes emergency actions (Lockout, Lockdown, Evacuate, Shelter),drills, threat assessment, incident command, campus security, reporting hotlines, social/emotional supports and more.
Device Protection Plans (formerly known as Chromebook Insurance) can be purchased online through the Infinite Campus School Store. Families can purchase Device Protection Plans for all students in their family in one transaction.
Internet access is needed for most student work to be saved and shared. If your student does not have internet access, please contact your school for information on low-cost internet options for your family. Various locations in the community also provide free wireless internet, including public libraries.
Damage caused by misuse is not covered by the plan. Digital devices and accessories are the property of Robbinsdale Area Schools and must be returned to Robbinsdale Area Schools at the end of each school year or upon withdrawal from school. Fines will be assessed for negligent damage or a lost device, charger or case.
