To stop receiving communcations please follow the email to the bottom and click "unsbscribe" from the account you no longer wish to recevie updates. **PLEASE NOTE - This does not add email addresses to your emergency contacts in the school portal.**

What is online textbook?

Online textbooks are now interactive instructional resources with videos, assessments, and eBooks with text to speech features. Parents can access the online textbooks using their child's username and password. Teachers are responsible for showing students how to navigate to the online textbooks and resources.

What is CCISD Connect?

The Home Access Center provides CCISD parents the ability to access grades, attendance, schedules and assignment information with a single log in account. This information can also be viewed at any time through the eSchoolPLUS Family app which may be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. With the Family App you can access notifications, attendance, class work, calendar, progress reports, report card information, class schedule, bus routes and times and other resources.

What happens if a student fails to return a textbook?

If a student fails to return a textbook (s) the student, parent, or guardian is responsible for reimbursement of the lost or damaged instructional materials. The average cost of a textbook is $100. A cheaper alternative to the printed textbook could be the online textbook.

Academic Performance Report

You are invited to attend a public hearing at 3:30 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2022, in the CCISD Board Room of the Administration Building, 801 Leopard Street. CCISD School Relief Fund Plan

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the US Department of Education has released three grants for which local education agencies can apply. These grants, known as ESSER I, II, & III, were authorized by the (CARES) Act; the Coronavirus Response & Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act; & the American Rescue Plan.

What happens if a volunteer application is denied?

If a Volunteer Application is denied, the volunteer applicant will receive an email indicating why the application was denied, and providing a point of contact at CCISD Police Services or at CCISD Administration.

How old do you have to be to volunteer at CCISD?

Any volunteer under the age of 16 , including CCISD students who volunteer at, are observing at, or are completing practicums at another CCISD campus, must complete the Underage Applicant Consent and Disclosure form, signed by their parent/legal guardian.

When do you have to reapply for a volunteer in the school system?

All volunteers for the 2019-20 school year, must apply/reapply after 6/1/2019. The system will run a new background check at that time, and send a new approval letter. No volunteer shall serve as athletic coaches and/or assist in any athletics practices or games. No volunteer shall cover a classroom by themselves.

Can a child be subject to CCISD?

any offense involving a child. All applications are subject to the same scrutiny as applications for employment through the CCISD Office of Human Resources. All applicants may be subject to review at any time, at the discretion of a campus and/or CCISD.
