What is the Cottonwood School?

The Cottonwood School is a tuition-free, public charter school serving Transitional Kindergarten through 12th-grade students in El Dorado, Amador, Alpine, Placer, and Sacramento counties. We understand that parents want to take an active role in their child’s education by choosing to homeschool.

When is the winter concert at Cottonwood School?

Cottonwood Cougars prepare for future college and career success! Cottonwood Families, Thursday, December 16th is Pajama Spirit Day. Students can wear school appropriate pajamas, but must wear shoes, slippers are not permitted for safety reasons. Can't wait to see everyone!

Fourth and Fifth graders may participate in volleyball and basketball through the Casper Recreation Center. Cottonwood provides a great introduction to school with a standards-driven half-day preschool program. Cottonwood’s preschool is available to children ages 3 and 4 years old.
