The Cottonwood High School (TCHS) is a site-based FREE public charter school located in the Buckeye Union School District in beautiful El Dorado Hills.

Does Cottonwood-Oak Creek offer free developmental screenings?

The Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District offers free developmental screenings for preschool children between the ages of 3 to 5 years who live in the school district and are not already receiving special education services, or enrolled in Kindergarten. The screenings will check a child's speech, motor, cognitive, adaptive, and social development.

When will my yearbook be delivered to Cottonwood High School?

Graduation 2021 Cottonwood High School will hold Graduation Ceremonies on May 27th at 8:00 am at the National Peanut Fesitival Fairgrounds ampitheater. Yearbooks will be delivered this Summer 2021. All students who purchased a book will be notified of a pickup date once the books have shipped and been verified.

When is the winter concert at Cottonwood School?

The Winter Concert will be held on Wednesday, December 15th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Cottonwood School. All elementary classes and bands will be performing.

SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM… How do you know what is best for you and your student? We have specially trained teachers for each approach who serve as Educational Design Experts. You can choose a different approach and curriculum for each child.

When is Cottonwood end of year?

Cottonwood's End of the Year School Pictures are on Tuesday, May 18th, all students are welcome to come and have their pictures taken.

When is Cottonwood end of year school picture day?

Picture Day - May 18th. House of Portraits will be on campus to take Cottonwood's End of the Year School Pictures. This will be a great opportunity for any students who may have missed picture day in August, and students who want their pictures updated.

Is Cottonwood a read live school?

Cottonwood is a Read Live School Runner Up! Congratulations to Mrs. Juarez for her work using the Read Naturally Program with the students she works with at Cottonwood.

What is MTSS in school?

Students in the Cottonwood-Oak Creek School District who are suspected of having a disability are initially referred to a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), an Intervention Team that will review the data about the student and will determine if interventions are needed in the student’s classroom. A follow-up meeting is scheduled to review the results of the interventions to determine success and document the learning outcome. The Intervention Team determines whether a referral for Special Education will be recommended.

What time does KVRD 105.7 close?

In the event of a closing prior to school hours or an adverse weather day, radio station KVRD-105.7 FM or KYBC-1600 AM will make any announcement concerning an emergency closing. Such announcements will be made between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
