In the case of an iPhone or iPad, we recommend you use the Classlink Launchpad app for CPS Families Portal access from mobile devices. NOTE: Schoology is one of the apps that require the ClassLink OneClick Extension.
Student and Parent Portals provide access to students’ grades, assignments, and attendance, among other new features, such as the ability to view and pay fees online. GoCPS is the online platform that allows families to apply to nearly every CPS school and program using one site, one application, and one deadline.

The parent portal application has additional features such as the “add child” option and shows student achievements in various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The application is integrated with a web portal access and has auto-update capabilities.
The new Student Portal URL is aspen.cps.edu and you will use your CPS username and password. If you want a look at Aspen, feel free to logon and try it!
To add a new contact, select Options > Add. The New Student Contact page appears. In the Selection Type pop-up, indicate whether Aspen should display Related Contacts, All People or All Contacts. Make your selection, and then click OK.

Your student's ID can be found on a report card or contact your school's main office. What is my students password? Grades K - 5 - if this is the first time you are logging in, your default password is the students birthday in the format YYYYMMDD. If you have logged in prior, then use your existing password.

What is Aspen? Aspen is a secure, Web-based school information management system. It is used by Marlborough High School to track student data – from attendance to conduct and grades to schedules. MHS uses Family and Student portals to increase communication among parents, students, teachers, and administrators.

When logged into Aspen, click on your name in the upper right corner and then click on Set Preferences which will appear below your name. Enter your primary and alternate email address if you would like to change or add them. Click on the Change link next to the word Password to change your password.
To access grade information:Log on to Aspen Mobile using your phone or tablet.Tap Grade s. Is there a CPS Families Portal app? Yes, the ClassLink App for Families is available. It can be found in the Google Play and Apple App Store. The app is called ClassLink Launchpad. Once installed, guardians will be prompted to search for a school. Enter "Columbia" and choose Columbia Public School for Families.
