Can I Park at Crawfish Aquatics for swimming lessons?

During the summer months, swim team members should utilize the Lafayette HS parking and reserve the CA lot for parents of young swim lesson students. Recreational or independent lap swimming: Crawfish Aquatics does not offer "open swim" pool memberships. Pool use is only available through membership in one of the available programs.

Does crawfish Aquatics offer lifeguard staffing services?

Lifeguard Staffing for private events/parties: Crawfish Aquatics does not offer a lifeguard staffing service or send staff to home pools for private instruction. Red Cross Certification : We do not currently offer Lifeguard Certification services.

How old do you have to be to swim in a small group?

Small group classes offered for swimmers 9-12 years old. Group classes are split by age and skill level, so no matter what time of the year your swimmer begins their lessons they will join a group on their same level.

How often do parents have to attend classes?

A parent or guardian must attend every class with each child enrolled in the class. The parent or guardian can change weekly based on schedule availability — mom can attend class one week and dad or the babysitter can attend class the next!

How long do you float in the water?

For swimmers with no swim experience through swimmers who can comfortably put their face in the water and blow bubbles, float independently on front and back for 5 seconds, kick on front 5 yards to and from their instructor.

What is a water baby class?

Water Babies. A free class for babies 2-5 months and their parent (s) old become familiar with aquatic breath control, buoyancy and movement. Parents learn tips on how to develop comfort and confidence handling their child in the water. This is a single day class. Class Requirements.

Parking Information

Overflow parking is available at Lafayette High School (3:30-7:00pm during the school year). During the summer months, swim team members should utilize the Lafayette HS parking and reserve the CA lot for parents of young swim lesson students.
