NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Castro Valley Unified School District is in the process of adopting new Environmental Science materials. Environmental Science has not had a new textbook since 2006. Teachers have been working together to select and evaluate new materials.
School Smarts is a free parent education and engagement program that brings our elementary school parents together with the common goal of supporting and helping their children succeed in school. Participate in authentic family engagement through meaningful discussion about how to best support your child’s educational journey.
There will be no school Monday, February 21, 2022 due to President's Day Holiday.

Should parents or guardians have questions regarding students’ academic or behavioral concerns, the first, and best, place to start is with the teacher. Only the teacher directly involved will be able to answer your specific questions. Please call the school to schedule an appointment, giving the teacher at least 24 hours notice.

With our coin drive this year, We collected a grand total of $668.40! 7th grade collected the most, with a total of $292.97. Children with health insurance miss fewer days of school, and applying for Florida KidCare is easy. Any family can apply, and many pay $20 or less per month to insure their children. Most pay nothing at all. Click here for additional information with local support in applying.
