Welcome to the Crosby Scholars Junior Program, where our focus narrows significantly onto the details of the college admission process. Academy presentation topics, College 101 and Creating a Target List, reflect the reality that applying to college is only one year away. Juniors are advised to attend a college fair, begin campus visits at schools that interest them, and discuss their plans with their school counselor.
There is not an application for the junior year. Students must enroll in the Program by the beginning of their sophomore year of high school. (Exceptions may be made for newly enrolled students in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. Contact the Crosby Scholars CEO and President by October 1 of the junior year for more information.)
The Crosby Scholars Program is a nonprofit college access organization where students begin to prepare academically, financially and personall for successful college admission beginning as early as middle school.
The program accepts students from the beginning of school until October 1st each school year. Applications may be filed online at the Crosby Scholars website or paper copies may be turned into the Crosby Scholar Liason, Sharon Sherman, in Student Services.
