Programs Offered at Dance Attack!

Dance styles currently taught at Dance Attack include Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary, as well as Acro and Latin dance at our Los Gatos location.

Sanitation Procedures

Dance shoes, dance socks, or sneakers must be clean, and used only for dance (no street shoes on dance floors).

Dance Etiquette

Arrive at class on time. BALLET / JAZZ students: If later than 20 min., the dancer will sit and watch the class. The first 20 min. is crucial warm up time, to prevent injuries. COMBO CLASS students: If late to class, please put dance shoes on prior to entering the classroom.

Hair and Attire

In order to be a dancer, it helps to feel like a dancer! Proper attire, shoes, and hair are a must for good training, so the dancer has freedom of movement and the teacher can see the dancers‘ positions and movement in order to give necessary corrections.

Performance Information

Dance Attack has Observation Weeks throughout the year, in October, December, and February. Families will receive emails to notify them which week each student may have a guest come in to watch the last 10 minutes of class. The “observation” at the end of the season will be the Ice Cream Concert or the Big Show.

Performing Company

Our Performing Company performs at community events, like festivals and parades, and participates in top dance competitions and conventions. Our outstanding team includes many national scholarship finalists and national convention company members. If your dancer has a passion for dance and competition, the Performing Company may be for you.

CLASS CANCELLATION

We have 2 different schedules throughout the year, our School Year Session (Aug – June), and our Summer Session (mid-June – August). When you register for a class, you are enrolled in that class for the length of the current program or until you drop the class.
