Dance Warehouse Studios, Inc. was started in 2009 by Cassidy peters, a born and raised Lubbockite. It was her dream from the time she was just a little girl to start her own dance studio. After obtaining her degree from Texas Tech University, Cassidy knew that Lubbock would be her permanent home, and accomplished her longtime dream.
Dance Warehouse Studios, Inc. has been competing all over Texas, New Mexico, and oklahoma for the past several years! Winning the Sportsmanship Award several times, we teach kindness and humility first and foremost.
Hip Hop consists of fun energetic "street" moves. Students are grouped according to their school grade level. Jazz Technique (Offered to ages 7 and up) Dancers will learn fundamental jazz steps and basic vocabulary through across the floor exercises and simple combinations.
This class is one hour per week, in addition to a one hour ballet class once per week (if required by your dancer's class curriculum). Students ages 11 and up, with at least one year of ballet training, will be assessed for the first month of the class in ballet shoes to determine readiness for Pointe shoes.
Faster paced routines and more advanced skills are taught. These class are offered once a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Students are continued to be exposed to more technical skills in Tap, Ballet and Jazz.
Intermediate (9-10, typically 7th year of dance) Adv. Intermediate (9-10; typically 8th year of dance) These class are offered once a week for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Students are continued to be exposed to more technical skills in Tap, Ballet and Jazz. Progressions are taught.
Advanced II and Ballet IV (Ages 14-18; typically 9th-12th grade) A two hour combined tap and jazz class is offered along with a required hour-long ballet class. Students at this level are expected to have mastered the basic skills of kicks, turns, and leaps. Click to edit.
