How do I Register my child for Davenport Community Schools?

Welcome to the Davenport Community Schools online registration application. We have one application for New Families who have not been previously enrolled in our schools and one application for families with currently enrolled students, also known as a ‘Returning Family’. Please view the appropriate instructions below to begin online registration.

What is the parent portal?

Parent Portal is a secure web site that you can use to track your child’s progress in school. The goal of the Parent Portal is to create a better partnership and dialogue between parents and teachers.

How do I Activate my Child’s campus portal?

You can receive a Campus Portal activation key from your child’s school office. The activation key can only be sent to a verified email on file with your child’s student record. Using this activation key and the Parent Portal Access Instructions, you will create a username and password.

Parent Portal is a service offered to parents and guardians for accessing certain student records. The service allows parents and guardians to access information about ALL of their students through one convenient website.

How to schedule parent teacher conferences?

(Conferences held with administration for disciplinary reasons do not have the same objectives and are considered separate.) Conferences with teachers should be scheduled either by writing a note to the teacher in the child’s agenda or by calling the Guidance Office. The grade level counselor will assist you in arranging a conference with the chosen teacher (s). The teacher may have appointments before or after yours, so it is important that you arrive on time. Ideally, parents and the student should attend the conference. To make certain all concerns are addressed, all participants are encouraged to bring personal notes relating to the conference issues and to get the facts about a situation before reacting to it. Be positive and remember the best interest of the child is always our main goal.

New Families

Please click the following link to Begin Online Registration. If you are a current Davenport Community Schools Children’s Village family, and you do not have any other returning students, you will register your incoming Kindergartner by using this new family application.

Returning Families

Online Registration is required for returning students. Families with currently enrolled preschool-12th grade students must log into their Parent Portal account in order to complete Online Registration. A link titled Online Registration is provided in the menu options.
