How do I create an observer account in Daystar Academy?

C reate an observer account: Go to daystaracademy.instructure.com/login/canvas. C lick o n “Parent of a Canvas User? Click Here For an Account” in the top right corner. Student should generate a pairing code from their account: How do I generate a pairing code for an observer as a student?

How do I retrieve my MISTAR parentconnection login information?

Parents can retrieve their MISTAR ParentConnection login information by clicking the reminder link (Reset Your Password) at the ParentConnection login site and entering the email address that we have on file for you. A password reset will be immediately emailed to you.

Why are my old assignments not showing up on Daystar?

Since students have new accounts on the new Daystar domain (daystaracademy.instructure.com), their old submissions are not linked to their new Daystar account. We are working on clearing out the missing assignment notifications from the Missing Assignment list and the To Do list.

Who do I contact for questions about the parent portal?
