After you create your Parent Portal account, you can access it by going to https://volusia.focusschoolsoftware.com/focus/index.php?skipSAML.
Hours & Information: Student Services are available to students from 8:00am - 4:00pm daily. Parents are asked to make appointments for the date and time they wish to have a conference by visiting the counselor page & clicking on the "website" link next their their counselor.
In addition to meeting the Standard High School Diploma requirements, in order to earn the scholar designation, a student must satisfy the following requirements: 1 1 credit in Algebra 2 2 Pass the Geometry EOC 3 1 credit in Statistics or an equally rigorous mathematics course 4 Pass the Biology EOC 5 1 credit in Chemistry or Physics 6 1 credit in a science course equally rigorous to Chemistry or Physics 7 Pass the U.S. History EOC 8 2 credits in the same world language 9 Earn at least one credit in AP, IB, AICE or a Dual Enrollment course

The Communications Academy at DeLand High School will provide students with rigorous, hands on, real world experiences to prepare them for the industry. Students will have a comprehensive overview of communications in which they can then choose a path to continue on throughout their four years of high school.
The Engineering Academy is an exciting opportunity for our students to explore the many fields of engineering. The Academy emphasizes math, science, computer, and communication skills, while giving students experience with problem solving, logical sequencing, presentation skills, and organizational skills.
