What is the DCTs Parent Portal?

The DCTS Parent Portal provides a method for you to remain updated about your child's progress in his or her Career and Technical Program. Obtain information about your child’s scheduled courses, attendance, grades and discipline reports.

What is the Medical Careers Program?

The Medical Careers program is a full-year, honors-level, Delaware County Technical School program that is available for students in their senior year. It is geared toward students who are interested in pursuing medical careers in college.

Right-to-Know Law

The Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU-DCTS) recognizes the importance of public records. In order to ensure that the public has the right to access and procure copies of public records, the DCIU-DCTS has appointed a Right to Know Officer

What is Delaware County Technical School?

The Delaware County Technical School (DCTS) provides career and technical programs for high school students. Haverford High School students attend their technical programs for blocks one and two, and then return to Haverford High School for blocks three and four. Students from Haverford High School typically enter these programs in the 11th grade and often attend for two years. They receive four elective credits for their work at the technical school each year. This career and technical training can lead to employment or post-secondary education after graduation.

When do medical students leave Haverford High School?

The Medical Careers students leave Haverford High School at 6:30 every morning and travel to their assigned hospital. These students will not be scheduled for a first block class at HHS and will return to HHS during homeroom, at approximately 9:10 am.
