DSA is a unique school with unique needs. The actual cost of educating a DSA student with an extraordinary arts and academic education is beyond the funding that is provided by the district. In order to fully fund DSA’s nationally competitive arts and academics, we are faced with a gap.
Formerly the Student Support Fund, The Student Success Fund exists to ensure all DSA students experience success and are not limited by financial resources. This fund provides supplemental assistance with DSA-related expenses such as lessons, art supplies, performance attire, tutoring, and more.
Keep track of assignments your student turned in, check out their most recent grades and view past grades with your student.
Support your student in getting to class ready to learn. View if they’re arriving to class on time, discuss classes they may have missed and learn about possible behavioral concerns.
Review your student's schedule, see their subject areas, and understand what days and times they're attending which classes.
Explore other tools and apps that are available to you and your student.
The Dance Family Organization (DFO) are the parents of dancers in the Department of Dance and Movement that volunteer their time to ensure Department events run smoothly, that fundraising successfully supports the needs of DSA dancers, and to enhance communication with dance families and the broader dance community.
Professional obligations in the arts must have prior approval from DSA Administration, and the major teacher. Prior to being absent, you must obtain a pre-arranged absence contract from the Main Office and have your teachers fill out the form with all assignments and due dates noted.
