100% of Denver Waldorf students are accepted into college, the vast majority finishing in 4 years. Plus, our graduating classes, although intentionally small, average more than $4 million in scholarships per year. Hear from our alumni on why DWS is well worth the investment.
From our Starflower Preschool to the lively halls of our high school, the Waldorf experience takes a hand-on approach to education. We are founded on Rudolf Steiner’s humanitarian curriculum, a robust and dynamic program taught throughout the world for more than 100 years. This opens in a new window.

The enrollment contract financially obligates families to pay the full amount of tuition and fees, regardless of withdrawal for any reason. However, we understand unforeseen events occur. To help families protect their investment, we offer tuition insurance through PROTECT MY TUITION™.
Current and prospective families may apply for tuition adjustment if their students are either in grades 1-12 or in their final year of kindergarten (enrolled for 5 full days).
We offer need-based scholarships to prospective and currently enrolled students, as well as merit-based scholarships to currently enrolled students of The Denver Waldorf School.
Our robust curriculum and our community are unlike any that you’ll find in Denver. Therefore, our admissions process aims to ensure prospective students are a good fit. This includes taking an in-person tour, applying online, shadowing, and interviews with our faculty and staff.
Our peak enrollment period runs from August to February. During this time, we schedule shadows and interviews approximately two weeks after applicants apply online. We also offer in-person tours year round.
August through October — Complete online application, provide letters of recommendation, medical forms and copy of birth certificate. All documents must be translated into English. Learn more about our requirements for International Students.
