The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH), along with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and University of Iowa, announced their collaboration to host information sessions about the COVID-19 vaccine later this month. Food Bank of Iowa recently partnered with 15 churches across the metro to help serve Des Moines Public School families while the schools are shut and online. We have 19 school pantries within DMPS but transitioned them to churches for the remainder of this school year due to COVID.

Families are encouraged to send only one parent or guardian to register a student (the student does not need to be present). Please have all documentation ready at check in, and be prepared to return and wait in your vehicle until registration staff comes to get you.
