Why is dance important for children?

Through the art of dance at a young age, children gain physical development, social awareness, and expression. They have time to experience how to be determined and focused.

How much does Essential Movement cost?

The class is completely teacher led and allows the child to continue working on motor skills, coordination, and rhythm. The cost for this class is $51 for the month. Below is the schedule for our Fall season.

When is Diamond Dance Works tuition due?

Automatic bill pay or ACH transfer are required for all students enrolled in Diamond Dance Works. Payment of tuition is due on the 27th for the following month. For example, December 1st tuition, is due on November 27th.

How much does Diamond Dance Works cost?

Diamond Dance Works offers some specialty classes in 6 week sessions in non-recital technique classes. The cost is $75 per session. Pre-enrollment is required and a minimum of 6 dancers is needed to continue the class. You can register through the parent portal.

What is the level 1 dance?

Do you need a placement exam for dance?

All Level 2 and 3 classes require a placement exam for enrollment. Placement Exams: Dance is an individual art form and students need to be allowed the time necessary to achieve skills at a pace that’s comfortable for them. No two students will progress at the same rate, even if they experience the exact same training.

Do you have to be enrolled in ballet to take pre-pointe?

Students wanting to enroll in any contemporary class must also be enrolled in ballet or jazz. Students wanting to take pre-pointe/pointe must be enrolled in a ballet class twice a week and have teacher approval.
