Diamond Ranch Academy is a WWASP-affiliated behavior-modification program. It was originally founded in 1999 in Boise, ID by Rob and Sherri Dias as a Therapeutic Boarding School. In 2001, Diamond Ranch moved to a 200-acre ranch located at 1500 E 2700 S, Hurricane, UT 84737.
The Ranch Academy plans for self-paced, individualized instruction for every student. We have high expectations for our students and continually strive to provide them with quality instruction, resources and facilities.

In 2013, Paris Jackson, daughter of singer Michael Jackson, was placed at Diamond Ranch Academy following a suicide attempt. Paris Jackson has since stated that she suffered symptoms of PTSD after attending the school.
We provide free seminars and workshops to help parents understand their role in this process. Not only do these meetings benefit families, they give parents the opportunity to connect with other parents as well as DRA’s employees, including therapists, faculty and coaches.
At the appropriate time during each student’s stay at Diamond Ranch Academy, monthly parent visits are encouraged to assist with improving relationships and preparing for future plans.

Our annual Informational Night for all 8th graders interested in attending Diamond Ranch will be held on February 24th from 5:30-8:30.
On March 23rd, all 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students will be taking the PSAT or SAT. All Freshmen and Sophomores will participate in the PSAT 9 or 10, while Juniors will participate in the SAT.
Diamond Ranch as well as all schools across PUSD is offering free and voluntary, weekly COVID-19 testing at our school site until further notice. The testing will occur on a weekly basis for students and staff beginning the week of Monday, January 31, 2022.
