Welcome to Our School

We are an all-girls independent Anglican school for Pre-School (age 3) to Year 13 offering both day and boarding located in Epsom, Auckland.

Principal Heather McRae

Every parent wants the best for their children. We absolutely share that goal. That’s why we walk alongside every student as we help them learn, discover and grow to be more than they ever imagined.

Educating Young Women

There are many advantages to young women being educated in girls' schools where there are no expectations to fulfil traditional gender stereotypes in the subjects that they study, the activities they participate in or the careers they pursue.

Boarding

Boarding opportunities for girls are part of the special character of Waikato Diocesan School for Girls and boarding is embedded in the charter and vision for the school. Boarder families send their daughters to Waikato Diocesan for many reasons: the boarding experience, the all-round education, the special character, and the family atmosphere.

Applying

Waikato Diocesan is a welcoming, vibrant and dynamic school with high standards: a community of teamwork and participation with an excellent record of achievement.

Arts and Sport

The arts are an integral part of school life – whether it is performing or producing art for public performances or exhibitions, or simply for personal fulfilment and enjoyment, we believe that creativity is a vital part of education.
