October 1, 2018 Parent Portal PIN Validation1 Beginning in early October 2018, parents and guardians of LA Unified students with an existing account will need to perform a one-time validation of a Personal Identification Number (PIN) code for students linked to their Parent Portal accounts.
Parent Portal PIN information is available by following these steps: • Log on to Whole Child at https://wholechild.lausd.net. the Student/Parent PIN Roster button in the upper right corner of the screen.

With a parent pin, authorized users only have access to make payments, payment history and balance on the student accounts. They do NOT have access to financial aid, grades, or other online student information.
PowerSchool offers a Parent Single Sign-On to the Parent Portal where parents can have access to all of their children's information in one place in one account.

A feature within the Parent Portal allows parents to keep track of their child's grades by email notification. Simply sign up for the email notification by clicking the “Set up Email” link after you log in to the Parent Portal. A verification email will be sent to you and will contain instructions regarding the set-up process.
Access. To access your student's grades, you will need a UserID (Student Number) and password. If you have lost or do not know your UserID and password, you can obtain one by completing the MIS 4339 Form and returning it to your child's school.
