The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post-9/11 GI Bill that allows veterans to attend a private school for little or no out-of-pocket money. Normally, Post-9/11 GI Bill payments at private schools are limited by law to a national maximum amount.
Yellow Ribbon Program No additional application is required to receive the Yellow Ribbon waiver other than the Post 9/11 (Chapter 33) application. Florida State will process Yellow Ribbon waivers once the Request for Benefits form has been submitted and FSU certifying officials confirm eligibility.
