How do I set up Amazon kids settings on my Echo?

To set up Amazon Kids Settings on your Echo, you have to enable it through your Alexa app. Once you've added it, you can manage the settings either through the app or by logging in to your Amazon account and going to your Parent Dashboard. How do I set up Alexa for my child's device?

Tap Amazon Kids Settings at the bottom of the page. You can also add content and fine-tune your kid's settings at any time by going to your Parent Dashboard either in the Alexa app or in your Amazon account. In the app, tap the Device icon and then All Devices; select the device you've added your kid to.

What is an ascender Parent Portal account?

You will want to familiarize yourself with Echo because it is how you can see your student's learning progress, grades, and classroom activities/events. Is Echo the same as Parent Portal?

Echo is your student's online classroom. It is important to note that Echo is not the same as Parent Portal. While both are apps for LPS parents, they are managed by different people. Echo admins will not be able to assist with Parent Portal.
