El Segundo Ed! Foundation The El Segundo Unified School District welcomes Bridget Fredrickson as the new assistant principal for El Segundo Middle School beginning with the 2021-2022 school year. The ESUSD Board of Education approved the hiring of Ms. Fredrickson at its June 22, 2021 meeting.
Education Comes First! El Segundo High School will provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become lifelong learners, effective communicators and socially productive citizens who are prepared for life choices and challenges in a global society.
Welcome El Portal Middle School’s student population is approximately 650 6th through 8th grade students serving a predominantly rural/agricultural community. El Portal began as a 5th through 8th grade school in 1970.

Construction will soon begin on the modernization of ESMS' Bulldog Hall and the Music/Band Room, and interior construction of two all-new Science labs in the former PE classrooms.
