In August, you will also be invited to join the Emory University Parent & Family Portal, which will serve as a communication resource for you over your student’s time at Emory. Orientation programs for families will take place in August (January for Spring Starts).
This portal is specific for Emory Decatur Hospital, Emory Hillandale Hospital and Emory Long-Term Acute Care. If you need assistance with this Patient Portal, please call 404-501-1107.
We also encourage you to mark your calendars for Emory Family Weekend on October 21-23, 2022, hosted by the Office of Parent and Family Programs in partnership with Emory Homecoming. More information will be available on the Emory Family Weekend website.
You can find information about Emory's operating status on our Emory Forward website. Most of our Family Weekend programming will be on Saturday, October 23 to accommodate your travels. Programming will include a campus-wide lunch picnic on the Quad, a “screen on the green,” an annual address from Dean Hicks, and more!
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) requires that your student must give us consent before we can release specific personal information to you, including grades. Your student can give or revoke consent by completing the Emory College Letter of Consent.
Guest Access is a feature in OPUS (our student record system) that allows your student to grant up to five individuals access to their OPUS student record. The level of access that a guest is granted is directly controlled by your student, and may include their financial aid information, billing, class schedule, and grades.
Your student will be assigned a Pre-Major Faculty Advisor at the start of their first semester. When your student declares a major, an advisor in their field (s) of study will be assigned. The Pre-Major and Major Faculty Advisor are known as the ‘advisor of record’ for your student.
Pre-Health Advising works with students who are interested in a health-related career. For students interested in pre-business or pre-law advising, the pre-BBA Program Office and Career Center, respectively, are available resources for students.
We want our students to take ownership of their academic experience while at Emory. We know that parents and families offer great support in this process as well.
The Office of Parent & Family Programs at Emory is a great resource for parents and serves to support families with services and programs aimed at encouraging their student's growth and development. You can find information about the office, as well as newsletters, webinars and important dates on their website.
Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) provides outpatient care for all enrolled Emory students with a valid Emory ID card. The vision of Emory University Student Health Services is to help students to excel, both while at the University and beyond, by promoting wellness as a state of optimal human functioning.
International student's spouses, Domestic Partners and unmarried children over 18 years of age are also eligible for primary medical care if they are currently enrolled in the Emory/Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan.
The staff of Emory University Student Health Services (EUSHS) cares about the health and wellbeing of your child/student. Since many of us are parents, too, we wanted to give you your own web site section with information about Student Health Services on our campus. Please feel free to contact us if you need help and/or advice, parent-to-parent.
Thank you for your patience as we have made the move to myhub.ehc.edu. This change provides one stop to find the information you need for Advising, Financial Aid, Billing, Payment Plans, Grades, Registration, Parent Proxy, Student Employment Information, Housing Information and more!
Want to see your student’s account or access a bill? Students may allow their parents, guardians, or others access to elements of their student records through myhub.ehc.edu (Self Service) by granting them Proxy Access. Proxy must be granted by the student to their designee.
Emory Healthcare uses different electronic medical records to provide patient care. Because of the way our technology works, this means we also have multiple patient portals – the BLUE, GOLD, and Eye Center portals. Depending on your providers, you may need access to more than one portal.
Emory Healthcare wants you to feel empowered in the management of your health.
Over the summer, your student will be completing items listed in the " what's next checklist " on the homepage of this site. Please encourage them to continue checking this website for updates and important announcements.
Orientation programs for families will take place in August (January for Spring Starts). The full Orientation schedule will be available to parents, families, and students in July for Fall Start and later in the fall for Spring Start students.
Oxford College’s Family Weekend is October 22-24, 2021. Our current plans are for in-person events. However, we will follow Emory's operating status at the time. You can find information about Emory's operating status on our Emory Forward website.
Your student will be assigned a faculty advisor at the start of their first semester. The Advising Support Center (ASC) serves as a resource to Oxford students as they navigate their academic career.
Students can add up to five guest accounts in the OPUS student portal.
If you will be paying your student's bills each semester, we recommend speaking with your student about being added as a Bill Payer. Students can add your email address as the Bill Payer under the Profile tile in OPUS.
With our new partnership with Nelnet, parents can setup and manage their student's monthly payment plan without relying on the student for notification. To start, your student must access the Nelnet Payment Plan website to add you as an Authorized Party.
