What is the parent portal and how does it work?

The Parent Portal is the tool that allows current members to manage their account online. Existing customers can update their contact information, view their fees and payments, enrol into additional classes and events, send online payments, as well as see and read past sent emails, registrations, and texts. How do I login to my Portal account?

For first time users, login with your email address as your Login ID. If you set up your Portal Account password on your initial online Registration form, you will use that password. Otherwise, select the blue phrase "Forgot your password or need to get started?" link which is on the Portal Login page.

How to add students to Brightspace?

On the Link Students page, enter the student's portal code. For TRECA Digital Academy students, the portal code is the password they use to access Brightspace daily. After you enter the portal code, enter the student's first and last names. Once you have entered the student's information, click Add. Repeat the previous steps for each additional student you wish to add.

Checking Student Progress

Once logged in, you will see a similar page to the one that your student will see every school day. The main difference is that there is an Auditors section on the right side of the home page. Inside that section is a link labeled Students. Click on the Students link to pick which student's progress you would like to view.
