The Parent Portal is a web-based service that allows parents to access information about their child’s grades, attendance, report cards, schedule, discipline and emergency contacts. The Parent Portal is available to all FWISD parents with students enrolled in PK-12. This tool will transform the way you interact with your child’s campus by enhancing two-way communication and involvement.
You will have to fill out a Parent Portal application form with the updated information and return it, in person, to the main office at your child’s school. Students in grades 6-12 have access to SchoolTool, which allows them to acces s their schedules, progress and report card information, and individual teacher assignment grades for participating teachers. The District has used SchoolTool since the 2006-07 school year as its student information and management system (SIS).
When you log in, you will see the homepage. This page contains a list of your students in the system.
Click on the "person" icon next to the child you would like to view and wait for the screen to reload.
A popup blocker is restricting the report card from running. This is a common issue with the Safari browser. Turn off popup blockers or look near your address bar for an icon indicating that the action was blocked. If you click that icon, you can typically override thi s.
Report cards require a PDF viewer in order to view. We recommend using Adobe Reader to view PDFs. Once installed, run the report card again and it should load properly.
The printer icon will only display on the full version of schooltool and when report cards are released. If you are on the full site (not the mobile version) and you still do not see the icon, either the report cards have not yet been published to parents or your drop down selections are not on the correct marking period or school year.

Student Management System- Parent Portal 1 You will simply need your students’ ID numbers, which appear on student report cards, interim reports, and the student’s printed schedule. 2 You can create a single, household Parent Portal account for all children at one time. 3 We take the security of our student data very seriously. Therefore, each household account will be verified by Clarkstown staff prior to the completion of your registration. In the event of inconsistent information, you will be contacted by mail to ensure the confidentiality of our verification request. 4 The Parent Portal is for parent access only . Students must NOT input student names or student email addresses. Doing so will disable the system. 5 Parent Portal approval process takes about 24 to 48 hours. Once the district has approved and activated the account and you have received a confirmation email, parents/guardians can sign in using the Username and Password that was created at the time of registration.
