How many FISD students were accepted into the All-Region Orchestras?

Nearly 140 FISD high school students were accepted into the All-Region orchestras. The District is proud to honor the dedication of Taylor Elementary data clerk Jim Madrinan and Pearson Middle special education paraprofessional Lisa Bowden. More than 200 FISD middle school musicians were invited to participate in one of the All-Region Bands.

You will still be able to access Parent Portal through our website: www.floydadaisd.esc17.net You will see many enhancements throughout the new Parent Portal system. Besides a new modern look, one of the enhancements you will notice is the ability to view your child's immunization record.

FFA Leadership Teams State Legacy

Over the last 16 years, the Floresville FFA has sent 20 teams to the Texas State FFA Leadership Contests. This year, three teams qualified for and competed against the best in teams in the State. The FFA Public Relations, Agricultural Advocacy and Broadcasting teams all finished in the top ten teams in Texas.
