How does Focus help students?

FOCUS can help you monitor your child's progress in school by providing timely access to assignments and grades as they are entered by the teacher throughout the school year. How to create a Focus account?

To create a FOCUS account, you must have a valid email address. If you are unable to create a FOCUS account, please contact your child's school for assistance. You will receive a temporary password via email. For Parents that have a FOCUS account and want to add a child who is already enrolled in an SDMC school.

What is focus in school?

Focus is the Student Information System (SIS) the district uses to manage student information. The Focus Parent Portal provides parents with instant access to their child's grades, attendance, class schedules, and other information. Where are parent forms located?

The forms are located under Forms on your navigation. Please note that parent forms are not in your student's Focus account. If you don't see the form, make sure you are in the Focus Parent portal and not the student portal.
