What is the focus Parent Portal?

The FOCUS Parent Portal is a tool designed to enhance communication and involvement in your child's education while they are enrolled in a Manatee County public school. A FOCUS account will allow you to register your child for public school online and apply for School Choice during open enrollment session.

What is focus and how does it work?

Focus is SDIRC's Student Information System (SIS). The Focus Parent Portal provides parents with instant access to their child's grades, attendance, class schedules, and other information. Parents can also use Focus to message teachers, fill out and submit forms, and request parent-teacher conferences.

What is the focus student information system?

As part of the District’s goal to ensure effective, equitable, and efficient use of resources, Duval County Public Schools has implemented Focus, a Student Information System. The district’s student information system allows parents to access grades, progress reports and attendance.

The forms are located under Forms on your navigation. Please note that parent forms are not in your student's Focus account. If you don't see the form, make sure you are in the Focus Parent portal and not the student portal. Go to the navigation on the left side of the screen and click Forms .
