Navigate to the VPortal login from the Volusia County homepage by selecting the VPortal link from the menu bar or VPortal icon. After selecting the V-Portal login, you'll notice the first Welcome message. Please read and then click the green “close” button to login and access the portal.
The Parent Portal PIN is a unique 8-digit code that is assigned to each student to help parents securely establish their parent portal accounts. A letter containing your student's unique PIN is sent home at the beginning of the year.
You can add additional students to your account by clicking the “I have an Account Registered on the Parent Portal but would like to ADD A CHILD” link below. After logging into your account, you will need your child's ALPHA, birthdate and PIN.
To view gradebook grades, click on the course names. 2. To view report card grades click on “My Child” tab, scroll down to Final Grades, GPA, & Class Rank.
15 unexcused15 unexcused absences within 90 days, it is a violation of the Compulsory School Attendance Law. Florida law also allows district school boards to establish policies that allow accumulated unexcused tardies, regardless of when they occur during the school day, and early checkouts to be recorded as unexcused absences.
Florida Statute defines habitual truancy as an accumulation of 15 unexcused absences within 90 calendar days. A combination of unexcused tardies/checkouts and all day unexcused absences can constitute a violation of the compulsory school attendance law.
Volusia Online Learning has an open enrollment system which allows students to add courses throughout the school year. Volusia Online Learning uses highly qualified Volusia County Schools teachers to provide personalized instruction and one-on-one support to our students.
Volusia Online Learning is a School of Choice. Students that do not complete their courses could be removed from Volusia Online Learning. All students will receive Welcome Emails from their teachers on Wednesday, September 15.
