Fort Bend ISD is using Blackboard Connect, a mass notification system, to send parent phone calls, emails and with parent consent, text messages. The system will be used to send emergency, attendance and general notifications from your child’s campus and Fort Bend ISD, as well as attendance updates and information about negative lunch balances.

Yesterday we announced changes to our COVID-19 protocols which were in line with current guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Hours after our announcement we received information from the State of Florida Department of Health (FDOH) that is not in line with the CDC. By law we are required to follow all rules as set by FDOH.

Fort Bend ISD will host a high school program event to give eighth-grade students and their families an opportunity to learn about the District’s high school academy programs, early college high school, and Pathways in Technology (P-TECH). Program representatives will also answer questions and provide an overview for the application process for the 2020-21 school year.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the FBISD Administrative Annex (3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, 77479).

The Parent Portal is available to all FWISD parents with students enrolled in PK-12. This tool will transform the way you interact with your child’s campus by enhancing two-way communication and involvement. It works seamlessly with the District’s Student Information System (SIS) and allows you to monitor your child's progress in school by providing timely access to both assignments and grades that are entered by the teacher throughout the grading period.

Beginning WEDNESDAY March 18th 2020 parents with portal accounts will be able to update THEIR contact information in the web portal on FOCUS. Do not use the app – login into a browser using Google Chrome or Firefox.
Step 1: Log into your Existing Portal Account. If you already have a Parent Portal account for another student that is already enrolled in a LCS school, simply log into the Parent Portal with your existing Parent Portal acct. Step 2: Open the Online Application.
