We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the BOCES’ Fox Meadow campus, off Route 132 in Yorktown Heights. Teachers are dually credited in content areas and special education. Group and individual counseling is woven into the school week, with services provided by a school social worker or school psychologist.
Fox Meadow provides special programs to support our students with IEP (Individual Education Plan), ELPs (English Learner Plan), and ALPs (Advanced Learner Plan). Fox Meadow loves learning and we know you will love our school too!

Fun Facts about Fox Meadow Middle School Fox Meadow provides high-quality education in a safe and caring environment. Our 8th-grade students earn high school credits in Science, Social Studies, English, Math, and Spanish. Fox Meadow Middle School received the Colorado Center for Excellence Award from CDE in 2017 Fox Meadow offers AVID, Spanish, Creativity Matters, choir, and band classes. Fox Meadow has an Award-Winning Band and Choir Program: There are over 300 students enrolled in our band and choir program—and that number is growing.
This program offers instruction in academics and positive behaviors as well as related services for students with social, emotional and behavioral disabilities. The Learning Center program is available to high school students in an 8:1:1 (student: teacher: teaching aide) educational model with clinical support provided for all students.
Career and Technical Education is available for Fox Meadow students through the Tech Center, which offers courses in 40 areas such as automotive repair, advertising art and design, engineering, cosmetology, fashion design, and law enforcement.

That's why Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES created the Back-on-Track tutorial service as an educational alternative to long-term, out-of-school suspension.
The PNW BOCES Intensive Therapeutic Support Program (ITSP) for Secondary students is for students in grades 7-12 needing a temporary placement while transitioning to or from an alternate school placement such as a hospital, out-of-district placement, or home instruction.
