Elementary School

At Nettleton, we know that your child’s education is your top priority. We also know that when it comes to schools that you have a choice. We want to help you start your child in the best way possible. Both of our elementary schools strive to do whatever it takes for every child, right in the neighborhoods they are in.

Raider Pride

FME is my home away from home! Since entering the doors as a college intern I have felt something special about this building. Our kiddos are some of the best around and I love how you can sense the feeling of an actual school family wherever you go.

The Learning Center Program

This program offers instruction in academics and positive behaviors as well as related services for students with social, emotional and behavioral disabilities. The Learning Center program is available to high school students in an 8:1:1 (student: teacher: teaching aide) educational model with clinical support provided for all students.

The Tech Center

Career and Technical Education is available for Fox Meadow students through the Tech Center, which offers courses in 40 areas such as automotive repair, advertising art and design, engineering, cosmetology, fashion design, and law enforcement.

Back on Track: An Alternative to Out-of-School Suspension

No one wants to see a student suspended from school. The suspended student misses valuable classroom time and receives no guidance or counseling that could help prevent future suspensions. That's why Putnam | Northern Westchester BOCES created the Back-on-Track tutorial service as an educational alternative to long-term, out-of-school suspension.

Intensive Therapeutic Support Program (ITSP) (7-12)

The PNW BOCES Intensive Therapeutic Support Program (ITSP) for Secondary students is for students in grades 7-12 needing a temporary placement while transitioning to or from an alternate school placement such as a hospital, out-of-district placement, or home instruction.
