Why does the Framingham public schools continue to verify residency?

Because residency may change for students and their families during the course of the academic year and a student’s educational life, the Framingham Public Schools may continue to verify residency after the commencement of classes. The Department of Student Registration only operates an online scheduling system to register all new students.

How do I contact Framingham K12 school?

Families wishing to enroll a child in school or speak to our staff are strongly encouraged to use remote options, including the online pre-enrollment system, fax, phone, email.

What is the difference between the parent portal and student portal?

The Parent Portal has access to information for all students within the household whereas the Student Portal only shows information relevant for that particular student's login information. It is highly recommended that students do not use their parents’ accounts for accessing portal information.

How do I make a payment on my Framingham account?

To make a payment, log into your myFramingham account, then select Students > Finances from the top left menu. Once you’re on the Finances screen, select Pay Your Bill! Mail : Students may pay by check.

Why are there no in person appointments for school?

No in-person appointments are being scheduled because of the school closures due to the COVID-19. Schools are legally required to collect copies of specific documents in order to enroll students. (see below) Completing the online registration process at home at your convenience will save you time.

Do you have to be a resident of Framingham to attend school?

Enrollment in the Framingham Public Schools is contingent upon residency. You must be a resident of Framingham in order to attend the Framingham Public Schools. Before a student is registered for Framingham Public Schools and can begin school, his/her parent or legal guardian must provide proof of primary residence.
