Roadside signs are a nuisance, distract drivers, create sight issues at intersections, and a passive visual nuisance to our residents on our local roads. Please do not place any of these signs in the Township of Freehold.
For the 2nd consecutive year, the Freehold Township Mayor’s Wellness Campaign Sponsored a summer employee volleyball league. The league consisted of approximately 50 employees spanning 11 departments throughout the Township. The league promoted healthy living and camaraderie amongst employees.
The FRHSD will host the 8th Grade Orientation (dates revised on Jan. 4, 2022) programs for parents and students at each of our six high schools. Each program will provide valuable information about the school, mission and philosophy, academic offerings, course registration process, and educational and extra-curricular opportunities.

The Freehold Regional High School District is proud to offer summer learning through the Summer Academy: Credit Recovery, Original Credit, AP Bridge Program, and Algebra 1 Bridge Program.
FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING NOTICE. The Freehold Township Committee Regular Meeting of July 27, 2021, originally scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m., is herein rescheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. The Meeting will be held in Room 114 in the Township Municipal Building, located at the corner of Schanck and Stillwells Corner Roads.
The Freehold Township Water Department will commence hydrant flushing on Monday, March 22, 2021 and continue through Friday, June 25, 2021 . Flushing will be done between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.The flushing may cause the water to become slightly discolored. Running the cold water for several minutes should clear up the problem. Call 732-294-2170 with any questions or concerns.
The day will begin with the traditional "Service of Reflection" at Elks Point at 8:30 a.m. The parade will officially commence at 9:45 a.m. at Brinckerhoff Avenue and Main Street by a flag-draped casket accompanied by active military from various branches of service. The veteran units and the rest of the parade will follow at 10:00 am.
The Monmouth County Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with special needs who reside, attend school or are employed in Monmouth County. The registry was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a registrant's special needs, emergency contact information, physical description and current photograph of the registrant. Information about a SNR registrant shall be kept strictly confidential.
