CAPS Funding. The Childcare and Parent Services (CAPS) program has been serving Georgia’s children and families since 1972. The program is funded federally by the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG), also known as the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).
If a family selects a program that does not already participate in CAPS, the CAPS State Provider Management Agent (Maximus) will reach out to the child care program to start the CAPS onboarding process. Parent Portal Parents of students in grades K–5 have access to class schedules, attendance records and grades through the APS Parent Portal | Infinite Campus, an easy-to-use, secure communications tool. Additionally, the Parent Portal enables parents to verify household information, including email, home address and telephone numbers.
Submitting required paperwork (e.g., CAPS provider agreement, form W9, child care rates, direct deposit form) There are many benefits to being a CAPS provider.
Payments are usually issued within 5-10 days of when the invoice was received.
Quality Rated eligible providers must be star rated by December 31, 2021.
