How do I get access to the parent portal?

For first-time access to the Parent Portal, fill out our online Parent Portal Application Request. Go to the SchoolTool website. In the login box where it says “Username,” type in the e-mail address that you submitted to the school district. In the “Password” section, enter the password you received when you signed up for your SchoolTool account.

What is the Geneva city school district Parent Portal?

Welcome to the Geneva City School District's Parent Portal. This SchoolTool portal allows you to keep track of your child's progress in school, with information about grades, assignments, attendance and schedules at your fingertips. To sign up for a Parent Portal account an application form must be completed (see link below).

What is the MISTAR Parent Portal?

Parents can utilize the MiStar Parent Portal to get a peek into their child's daily school life. This Portal helps parents become familiar with classroom routines, view their child's grades, pay for school lunches, and get a general idea of where their child stands academically. What is MiStar Parent Connection?

MiStar's Parent Connection is a web application that provides parents with direct access to student data via the Internet. Using a confidential PIN (personal identification number) and password, parents can connect to the school district’s student database using a web browser to view their child’s data, such as attendance reports, progress reports, report cards, transcripts, and more.

Is ParentConnection live?

Data viewed in ParentConnection/Portal is “live”, however; it may be updated in real time by the school while you are viewing data therefore, new data posted during a session will not be visible to the user until the data page is refreshed. There are three ways to refresh a data page.

Navigating the SchoolTool Parent Portal

You will be able to see various items by clicking on the down arrows in the boxes. (If you see “None” next to a class, it indicates that the teacher does not maintain an online gradebook).

After installing and opening the SchoolTool mobile app, first time users will be prompted to enter SchoolTool credentials. The following fields are required:
