How do I create a parent/guardian account?

In order to access the portal, all parents/guardians will need portal accounts. For help with this process, please refer to the steps listed below. Contact your child's school to have your parent account created. You will need to provide them with your student (s) names and a valid email address for your portal account.

PowerSchool Parent and Student Portal

The PowerSchool portal will provide parents and students with easy access to:

Parent Access

Contact your child's school to have your parent account created. You will need to provide them with your student (s) names and a valid email address for your portal account.

Student Access

Students use their district Google account to login to PowerSchool. Student can access their student portal through their ClassLink or click Student Sign-In at gcsd.powerschool.com.

When will GCDS notify families of admission decisions?

GCDS will notify families of admission decisions by March 1. We appreciate the time and attention that your family will devote to this process and your interest in GCDS. Our Admission Team looks forward to working with you and your family as you make this important decision for your child.

When is the CTP 5 test for GCDS?

CTP 5 Testing will be offered at GCDS on Saturday, December 5, 2020. Registration will only be open to GCDS applicants. Grades 5–11.

Is GCDS a test site?

Note: GCDS will not serve as a test site during the 2020-2021 admission season. Both the ISEE and SSAT offer “At Home” test options. To register, visit www.iseetest.org or www.ssat.org . Please list GCDS as a score recipient using the following school codes: ISEE 071009 or SSAT 3580.
